How We Got Here

Toronto, 2009.
We were on a break from Eloqua partner training discussing the impact of marketing automation. Still in its infancy, we recognized the potential for marketing automation to deliver the holy grail of marketing – the ability to deliver the right message, to the right person, at the right time, through the right channel.

After decades in the agency world using duct tape and baling wire trying to cobble together meaningful measures of marketing impact, we were hungry for a better way. Marketing automation promised smarter marketing with measurable results – a platform to manage relationships with customers and prospects – and we wanted to help deliver on this promise. The best company to deliver the best relationship management platform: Relationship One.

Ron is the president and chief executive officer for Relationship One with more than 20 years of marketing and brand development experience, developing integrated marketing programs to launch and sustain product and service offerings for both B2B and B2C-centric organizations and implementation of organizational brand and integrated marketing processes.

As COO and CFO of Relationship One, Tim brings more than 25 years of management and consulting experience helping organizations succeed in an ever-changing world. He brings a unique mix of business, marketing and technology expertise from industries such as manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, legal services and the military.
Aaron Johnson
Aaron Johnson VP of Marketing and Sales
Aaron has spent his 18 year career selling marketing technology products, software and services around the globe. As VP of Sales and Marketing, Aaron leads the team in implementing and executing company strategy, ensuring that Relationship One continues to be the favored partner for marketing teams. Aaron is passionate about helping clients complete complex digital transformations, increasing customer engagement and growing revenue.
