How We Got Here

Toronto, 2009.

We were on a break from Eloqua partner training discussing the impact of marketing automation. Still in its infancy, we recognized the potential for marketing automation to deliver the holy grail of marketing – the ability to deliver the right message, to the right person, at the right time, through the right channel.

After decades in the agency world using duct tape and baling wire trying to cobble together meaningful measures of marketing impact, we were hungry for a better way. Marketing automation promised smarter marketing with measurable results – a platform to manage relationships with customers and prospects – and we wanted to help deliver on this promise. The best company to deliver the best relationship management platform: Relationship One.

Ron is the president and chief executive officer for Relationship One with more than 30 years of marketing and brand development experience, developing integrated marketing programs to launch and sustain product and service offerings for both B2B and B2C-centric organizations and implementation of organizational brand and integrated marketing processes.

Tim Soulen

Chief Operations Officer

As COO and CFO of Relationship One, Tim brings more than 30 years of management and consulting experience helping organizations succeed in an ever-changing world. He brings a unique mix of business, marketing and technology expertise from industries such as manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, legal services and the military.

Emily Eubanks

Vice President of Consulting

Emily Eubanks, VP of Services at Relationship One since 2014, brings 25+ years of marketing and data strategy expertise. A former high school English teacher, she excels in mentoring and communication, seamlessly connecting marketing and IT professionals while empowering teams with her deep knowledge and passion for collaboration.

Mike Christensen, VP of Sales at Relationship One, specializes in driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships. Known for aligning sales strategies with client needs, he is passionate about fostering relationships that empower businesses to achieve their marketing goals.

Melissa has spent over two decades focused on marketing technology, operations, and strategy. As our Director of Consulting Services, she leads our consultants, strategists, and solution leads. Outside of MarTech, her passions are health and fitness, advocacy, and being a mom to three incredible kiddos.

Jeff Steel

Director of Production Services

Jeff, Director of Production Services at Relationship One since 2017, has 20+ years of experience spanning graphic design, web development, and digital marketing, with two Markie awards to his name. Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and cat, reading, watching anime, and staying updated on industry trends.

Mary Jo Pearson

Director of Project Management Office

Mary Jo Pearson is the PMO Director at Relationship One. Her passion for project management comes from a background in technology and music, leading and guiding teams and audiences in one accord. Located in Minnesota, she enjoys hike-in camping with her family in the summer and fall seasons.

Benjamin Bublitz

AppCloud Product Lead

Benjamin joined Relationship One’s product development team in early 2017. He adheres the philosophy of “best idea wins” and prefers tabs over spaces. Away from software he enjoys writing music, working on his novel, growing edible plants, telling dad jokes, and playing games of all types–and being interrupted by cats, apparently.
