TC OMC User Group_BlogOn a sunny Tuesday afternoon, Twin Cities modern marketers met at Thomson Reuters’ headquarters for a meeting of the minds. Companies represented at this month’s session included Hallmark, Ameripride, Kroll Ontrack, Red Wing Shoes, vRad, Thomson Reuters (of course!) to name a few. Oracle representatives across the OMC product stack also attended and were able to answer questions and lend credibility to the group. Their support in promoting the event was vital to its success. It was the largest attended user group session to date. Twin Cities represent!

During the meeting, we discussed:

  • Updates from the group: new jobs, job opportunities, successes
  • The upcoming Modern Marketing Experience conference
  • Oracle Eloqua product release updates
  • Notice of Eloqua’s change to their Data Retention Policy and solutions to retain historical data
  • Decisions and Actions on the Eloqua Campaign Campaign with a demo by Kristen Walker of Arrow SI
  • Progressive Profiling, use cases and implementation options presented by Carol Mendenhall of Thomson Reuters and myself (Erin Rowles)
  • Account Based Marketing and how DemandBase is supporting OMC users to easily implement this strategy within their technology stack
