Oracle Eloqua is a pretty flexible tool. For the majority of the time, the functionality that comes out-of-the-box is fine for what you need. But, what do you do when you want a little something extra? You need a little more pizazz. You want something that pops. What do you do?
Fortunately, Oracle Eloqua is ready to meet your needs. You can do custom HTML, CSS and JavaScript to get your assets to look and behave just the way want them to. At this month’s Twin Cities User Group, we took a look at some simple, reusable pieces of code that you can easily implement without the help of a developer. The tips and tricks we discussed allow you to change the layout of your forms, change the look of your elements, and generally create that custom email or landing page you’re looking for.
From there, we took it a step deeper and delved into design for mobile. We touched on fluid and scalable design, but spent most of our discussion on responsive design. We ran through a hands-on demo of using media queries within the CSS to update an email’s design when viewed on different devices.
All of this resulted in some great discussion within the group. If you want to review the slides (or check them out for the first time) please do. There are some helpful tips that you won’t want to miss.
We are off next month to attend Modern Marketing Experience. See you in April for our next TCUG.
