July’s Twin Cities User Group was hosted last night at Poor Richards Common House in Bloomington (shout out to Ahsha, the best server ever). The room was packed with eager modern marketers as we all listened and laughed with some of the leading marketers in the Twin Cities. The event kicked off with announcements, upcoming events, and a review of the latest Oracle Eloqua release information from our very own Mike Bernard.
Bob Peterson from SiriusDecisions used his time to urge everyone to think about Account-Based Marketing in a new way. He shared mind-blowing statistics of the growing budget for ABM in many organizations and encouraged us all to think about how we can weave ABM into our own marketing mix.
Up next was Erin Rowles from Thermo Fisher Scientific. Erin shared her four month journey to building a bigger database in the US and EU. She has cast her net with solid strategies in place and is already at 125% of her goal for the US with months left to go!
Finally, Eric Butterwick from 3M wrapped up the event by sharing 3M’s journey to one unified Oracle Eloqua instance. Focusing on how they have on-boarded employees to use the new platform, he shared his systems for tickets and training that have helped his team manage this large scale project.
