We’ve had a blast sharing more about our AppCloud with you through this series. At the core of our AppCloud offerings is the desire to help our clients enhance the already awesome features of the Oracle Eloqua platform. In case you missed it, you can check out the first post in this series: basics of the Relationship One AppCloud. If you’re ready to learn more about our Data Appenders specifically, then let’s get started!

What are Data Appenders Designed for?

Data Appenders are designed to help you clean up, enrich, and manage your data. These connectors do that by taking data from one of your Eloqua entities and appending it to a different Entity.

The two most popular are the Object-to-Contact Data Appender, and the Object-to-Object Data Appender. However, we also have other Data Appenders that you may want to know about, such as the Account-to-Object, and the Custom Object Record Splitter.

How much will this cost me?

We think investing in apps to help you enhance your Eloqua investment is a must. The fact that you can automatically manage your data at a very low cost makes it worth it. Please visit our App Catalog to learn more about what apps we have and how much they cost. The good news for you is, some of our apps are free! If you don’t see what you are looking for, we can always build a custom app for you. Simply fill out this form and our team will get back to you.

Configurations

Depending which app you are using, it may be configured into your Oracle Eloqua instance differently. Of the Data Appenders we are discussing in this blog post, here are the configurations for each.

Object-to-Contact

The Object-to-Contact Appender is a Cloud Action appender, which means it is configured either on the campaign or program canvas.

Object-to-Object

Similar to Object-To Contact, the Object-To-Object Appender is a Cloud Action, so configuration takes place within Eloqua. What differs here is that you configure the app from a Program Canvas set up for Custom Objects.

Account-to-Object

Just like Object-to-Object, the Account-To-Object Appender is a Cloud Action, and configuration takes place within Eloqua. You can configure the app from a Program Canvas set up for Custom Objects.

 Custom Object Record Splitter

The Custom Object Record Splitter is also a Cloud Action, and will be configured within Eloqua. You can configure this app by dragging it onto a Program Canvas that’s set up for Custom Objects.

I hope this most recent installment of the AppCloud Series has been helpful! If you have any questions or comments, contact us.
