Twin Cities’ modern marketers came together this week at the Happy Gnome in St. Paul to learn about advocacy marketing.
Normally my internal bias would cast a shadow of positivity on the recap of the event but my sentiments for this particular user group session were validated by attendees. Everyone loved it! Although, who am I kidding? What’s not to love about making new connections and talking tech with fellow marketing geeks over local tap beers? Here are some digital highlights of feedback from the Twitter-sphere:
- Slowly but surely falling in love with @influitive at the #omcusergroup @relationshipone @alexshipillo
- Awesome turn-out at the @OracleMktgCloud user group in the Twin Cities! #advocatemarketing w/ @influitive
- Thanks @relationshipone for insightful event, great insights from @code42 and @influitive #MarketingAutomation #digitalmarketing #eloqua
- #AdvocacyMarketing summed up best by @ahiggins385 at the Twin Cities
user group – “Business is always personal”
On behalf of the user group community and our co-host Influitive, I want to extend a special thank you to our guest presenters Angela Higgins from Code42 and Alex Shipillo from Influitive. Alex and Angela shared their personal experiences with directing their company’s attention, time and budget to advocacy marketing, as well as, relatable examples of failures and successes. There’s nothing better than learning from peers that have done it well.
For those that missed this epic user group event, copies of the presentation materials are provided below. If you’re interested in learning more about the Influitive advocacy platform, let us know! We can hook you up with the right resources.
If you are not currently receiving invitations to the user group and would like to add yourself or a colleague, get on the list!
